Tatcha Water Cream Review & Dupe

To release some positive energy in the world I am going to share one of my favourite brands and give you an insight into my skincare routine. As you know I am totally obsessed with skincare and looking radiant with and without makeup.

Our skin is our biggest organ and our face is the most exposed of all. Taking care of your face is super important as it is with you for life. Hence why I am so obsessive over my skincare routine I am almost at match with the 10-Step Korean Skincare Routine and I hope my aging shows it.

Tatcha is one of the worlds most coveted and high demand skincare brands. Founded by Victoria Tsai who is one of our crushes, muses and She-e-o aspirations. Tatcha isn't just your ordinary skincare brand with each purchase you fund a day of school in partnership with Room to Read’s Girls’ Education program, helping to nurture the beautiful minds of incredible girls in Asia and Africa. So not only do you get an infusion of ancient Japanese skincare you also change lives.

Tatcha The Water Cream $68

The Water Cream is unlike anything I have seen in Skincare. It is an oil free cream that when in contact with your skin, bursts into water so that your skin immediately absorbs the anti-aging Japanese nutrients.

"Unique water-burst cream breaks upon application to deeply deliver treatment benefits, hydrating without leaving skin sticky or greasy"

The formula is oil free so is suitable for everybody and gives you a radiance that I have never seen from a product before. I have dry skin so normally I have to layer on creams and pray that something hydrates me. Since incorporating Tatcha Products into my routine I don't have to work as hard! My skin loves it and the difference is visible, MAJORLY visible. It restores the radiance to my skin.

Tatcha is luxury, The quality is Luxury, The Packaging Screams Luxury and is its prices want you to know. At $68 a pot, This cream doesn't leave you much change from $100 so when this was released I debated about it for a whole year, I watched and read as many reviews as the internet had.

When on a trip to Las Vegas I went into Sephora and got a sample of this. 2 days later I brought the full size. I saw an instant difference. I have never had that in a Skincare product before. I wanted it by the Gallon. My face looked like I had just had a facial 24/7 I was so taken aback by it. I felt like penning a personal letter to Victoria myself thanking her for saving my skin.

My pot lasted me around 3/4 months as a little goes such a long way. The little spatula that comes with the tub honestly provides the perfect amount of product so It is impossible to over/under use this.

Knowing that my purchase funded a day of education for a young woman somewhere in the world, not only validated my investment but also made me fall in love with Tatcha so much more. This cream was not only changing my life but also somebody else's.

So I officially ran out of this cream and will not be going to the U.S.A until December meaning I have has to branch out. For all my U.K beauties, Tatcha is not the easiest to get here. It is an American company which means IMPORT TAXES. You can order it from Sephora & Tatcha direct however by the time it gets to you its nearly £80-90 for a singular cream. In my opinion its worth it because skincare is an investment and skincare that works is an even bigger investment. But not everybody has a space £100 every 3 months for a face cream, including me.

This is where I have got you.

First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream £28

The First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream is not only a fraction of the price but the finish of this product is very similar & 100% dupe worthy. Will it give you beautiful Japanese feels when you open the package? No. Will you fund a day of education for a girl in Asia or Africa? No. But it will hydrate & illuminate your skin so you look juicy AF.

This has the same light texture and has the same result on the skin however you loose the nostalgia and Japanese nutrients. However it does have electrolytes, amino acids, enzymes, antioxidants, phytonutrients, and coconut water which are all skin enriching nutrients that promise hydration.

I have been using this for just over a month now and I really really like it. It is giving me the hydration my skin needs and craves. It smells absolutely gorgeous too which I LOVE.

The First Aid Beauty Night cream is the last thing that goes on my face at night and I credit my baby like skin in the morning to it; so I already trusted them as a brand. The Coconut water cream melts into the skin and absorbs almost instantly and I think it is something I will continue to use.

I am not going to lie to you and tell you I will forever use this because, I wont. I love it but the second I get to my nearest Sephora in December I am going to buy The Tatcha Water Cream by the Gallon . I need the luxury feel in my skincare, I crave the nutrients and whole ethos instilled within their brand.

Do I need the Tatcha Cream? Absolutley not, The First Aid Beauty Cream delivers everything that I need from the Tatcha one. But there is something about the Tatcha Cream that isn't replaceable.

Call me crazy but Tatcha will have my money for as long as they keep producing amazing skincare.
