Hello my chickens, So your favourite drugstore brand extended its wings and launched a skincare line. Yep, Revolution Skincare is here and we might pee with excitement!
So let’s be real, we want to spill the tea and figure out what’s what and where our money should be going so when it launched at 10am my order was submitted at 10:03. Now I didn’t buy everything because who has hundreds to spend on skincare? I sure don’t. So I only picked up what really caught my eye & here is why…
I legit squealed when I saw this on the launch, gel cream or water cream is super nourishing for your skin as they penetrate faster, deeper and better than regular face creams due to its molecular structure ( skincare geek talk )
It’s oil free so no grease and more importantly no breakouts!! It contains Hyaluronic Acid so over time your skin will look juicy and everybody wants that right?
This reminds me so much of the Tarte Water Cream in terms of texture, look & benefits and if you are new here you should read THIS post to understand why this is a big deal. For £8 this could potentially be the best dupe I have come across this year.
Now you know how insecure I am about my eye bags, nothing ever gets rid of them and I have to layer on 4 concealers just to cover to the level I need. So when this was part of the launch I could have drove to the Revolution HQ to personally kiss whoever had the genius to create this.
Caffeine & Hyaluronic Acid?! Pure Genius.
This claims to be the double espresso your eye bags need and if that isn’t a reason to rush out and buy one then maybe the price tag will seduce you. £6 for a miracle in the bottle? I will take 10.
As with all skincare I test it out for a full 30 days before I give any sort of judgement on it but I strongly advise you get your hands on this before people catch on to its benefits and it becomes the next sell out.
Hyaluronic Acid is the new super ingredient in skincare and its honestly the saviour for us dry skin gals & guys. It makes the skin retain moisture and keeps it plump overtime so honestly if you want to look like you get facials 24/7 then this is the magic key.
Jackie Aina swears by Hyaluronic acid serums so if it works for the queen its good enough for us right?
My skin gets super dehydrated real quick so when I saw that Revolution were doing a solution for £6 I had to get it ASAP.
Overall Revolution Skincare appears to be the real deal at a complete bargain, I don't know how they do it but I will continue to bow down at good skin on a budget.
Be sure to let us know if you try anything from their range!
Thank you for taking the time to read this post!
